AUTHENTIC...Really!!

With so many people trying to scam innocent buyers out there with designer bags which they claim are "authentic", it's hard to really know which ones are really authentic and which ones aren't. Well, ladies, now your answers have been answered!

I've come across 2 websites that have truly authentic designer bags and shoes. The only catch is that they are pre-owned, but the good news is that it means that they are cheaper than a brand new one! I personally would rather have a pre-owned bag in good condition that's authentic and cheaper rather than buying a brand new bag that's not authentic but claims to be...

1) The first website is Fashionphile. This website has a huge selection of pre-owned luxury bags. They sell handbags, wallets, accessories, and shoes. Plus, you can even sell your own designer bag if you want to and get $ back!

2) The second website is Yoogi's Closet. This website offers handbags, wallets, accessories, briefcases, luggage, shoes, jewelry, and even a men's section.

So ladies, head on over to these websites and buy your goods safely knowing they are truly AUTHENTIC!

It All Started With a Boyfriend Blazer

So I was browsing online for a cute boyfriend blazer, and I came across this super cute one from Fred Flare. I think Kristin also featured this blazer on her blog but in the color gray.

It's the Necessary Objects Boyfriend Blazer (black):
(I love how the lining is pinstripes so when you roll up the cuffs, the pinstripes show. That's what drew me to this blazer.)

But of course since I was buying the boyfriend blazer, I just browsed some more and ended up buying three more items. Ugh,
curse you online shopping!! I also had a discount code, so I got 30% off at checkout, but I really need more self-control with shopping!! Here are the other three items that I bought:

Necessary Objects Sweetheart Bustier Dress (hot pink):
(I love dresses with pockets!)

Scrapbook Chevron Striped Spaghetti Dress:

Mini Weave Townie Purse:

(I've been looking for a cross-body purse because it's cute and leaves your hands free.)

Ok, no more shopping for a while now!

Just take my $ and go

I love this designer, Yumi Kim, and right now she is having a special family and friends event until July 15th where her entire spring/summer collection is 50% off!!! This seemed like it was too good to pass up, so I unfortunately lacked some self-control and ended up buying 2 dresses...

The Ella Dress:

and

The Devon Dress:

My fiance will probably get mad because I bought more clothes. I don't know why, but I'm such a sucker for shopping and sales. I have items hanging in my closet that I've only worn a few times and some that even have the tags still on them. So my fiance doesn't like it when I keep buying more things, but my justification for buying these 2 dresses is that they were both 50% off, and I'm sticking to it! Plus we have weddings to attend, and I could totally wear these dresses!

***Don't forget to enter my Giveaway here. The deadline is Friday, July 17 (12AM EST)

Calling All Recessionistas!

So with the recession and hard economic times going on, it's tough to spend a lot of money on clothes, so my top 6 favorite stores to find cute clothes for great prices are:

1) Forever 21 (clothing material is not the greatest but they have cute, trendy clothes for great prices as well as a decent accessories selection)

2) ZARA (designer inspired clothes for decent prices)

3) Nordstrom Rack (top designer clothes for a lot cheaper, usually sent straight from Nordstrom)

4) Loehmann's (similar to Nordstrom Rack)

5) H&M (similar to Forever 21, but material is slightly better)

6) Francesca's Collections (similar to H&M, but clothes are more "girly")

You can definitely find some cute pieces at any of these stores, so have fun shopping without breaking the bank!

On the other hand, if you're rolling in dough or feel the need to splurge a little bit, my top 6 splurge worthy places are:
1) Anthropologie

2) Nordstrom

3) J. Crew

4) Urban Outfitters

5) Bloomingdale's

6) BCBG

There should be some good sales this weekend for Memorial Day, so happy shopping ladies!!! =)

Confessions of another shopaholic.....

So lately, I've been doing way too much shopping. I feel like I use shopping as an outlet to relieve stress or make myself feel better when i'm feeling down. I was watching the episode on "How I Met Your Mother" season 3 where Lily has a shopping problem and is in a lot of debt but can't find the courage to tell her husband. Luckily, I don't really have much debt because I am able to pay my credit card off pretty quickly and don't have a lot of student loans to worry about because thankfully my parents paid for all of my schooling. I also don't have a million credit cards. I just have 2. But my fiance has a lot of debt right now, and instead of helping him pay off his debt, I've been selfishly buying useless things to fulfill my needs. And in the last month, I spent over $3,000! Granted, most of the money I spent was because I bought a dog, but that's a whole other story.

But i find myself buying things that I definitely don't need, and I have way too many shoes (is it possible for a girl to have too many shoes?). But the thing is I don't believe in spending hundreds of dollars on shoes, but I'm willing to buy an $800 designer purse. And lately, I feel like I've been more stressed and upset, so I've been shopping more and more. But most of the shopping I do is online, which can be really deadly. Sometimes, I just say I'm going to browse on the website, but of course that doesn't work and i end up buying something that I don't need or will only wear a few times.

I have been trying to control my shopping habits, but i just love shopping. I guess in a way, it makes me feel better about myself when I'm feeling down. Hopefully, I'll be able to do a better job of controlling myself especially with the summer coming and all the cute summer dresses and shoes that will be coming out!

Ahhhh, do they have such a thing as a shopaholics anonymous???
